Are You Really Doing Enough?

The person that is most likely to stop yourself from succeeding is you! This is the thing that most people don’t realize and they like to blame other things which have nowhere near as much an effect.

You can control how hard you work, how much effort you put in and how you stay motivated. These are not things other people can decide for you but are often areas people are lacking in. If you want to succeed at something then the most important things are within your control.

People that succeed do all sorts of things to make these things happen. It could be a vow they make to always give 100%. It could be seventies music they listen to beforehand to inspire them and get them excited. It could be a picture of their kids which makes them want to work hard. They are able to think of all sorts of things that will keep them in control of their destiny.

Using a CD Sleeve to Save Money Without Losing the Great Look of the Packaging

Sometimes it makes more sense to use less packaging for securing a CD. This may be the case when the CD is being mailed, or sent out as a promotional item, as CD jewel cases can be expensive to buy and heavy to send in the mail. In these cases it is much more economical to use CD sleeves to hold the CD in place and protect it from damage in transit. These sleeves are similar to an envelope, and allow the CD to slide into place easily. The material used can simply be made from cardboard, or other soft materials, and has 4 panels which can be personalized to feature the same images and text as would appear on other CD packaging.

These can be designed and ordered online to save time, and are a popular choice for modern songwriters, DJs and other people working with music and sound.

Interested to Learn Guitar Chords

Are you interested to learn the guitar? If so, then let’s get the ball rolling and start rocking! First things first: you need to have a practice guitar. You don’t necessarily have to buy one – you can alternatively borrow from someone who has an unused guitar lying in their attic somewhere. Once you have that on hand, grab a copy of a chord chart because it’s time to learn guitar chords.

Learning guitar chords is the very first part to learn the guitar. This will jumpstart your learning to be an expert on playing songs on the guitar. You don’t necessarily have to memorize all those guitar chords; you just have to master 3 or 5 at one time. Then you can slowly increase the pace. Once you have mastered about 5 to 7 chords, you can start playing one of those easy songs that even beginners can play on the guitar.

Local Weekend Escape!

The weekdays can be rough, especially Mondays. Who doesn’t get the occasional case of the Mondays every now and then?

I think the best cure to treating stress and work overload is to make weekend plans. You might have your own idea of What to do in LA or Orange County, but let me suggest to you my favorite thing to do… check out a local music concert!

I love listening to music, hanging out with friends, and having the occasional drink (or two). The great things is that most local concerts offer an environment to do all three things.

Just check out a local concert calendar like the one on ARC Record’s and you can see that many restaurants and bars actually provide live music on the weekends. Businesses get more patrons looking for a good time and customers get to listen to free music- it’s a win-win situation.

You Can Play Chords Now What?

Mighty Fortress Is Our God arr. Diane Bish www.thejoyofmusic.orgSo you’ve learned to play some guitar chords what do you do with it? For many of us we turn to guitar tabs to teach us some basic songs we can play with our basic chords. An even better idea though would be to learn guitar songs from guitar lesson videos that are designed for beginners just like you. I say this because I used the tab route for a while. It worked OK, but I used to get frustrated that I wasn’t able to learn things as quickly or easily as I wanted, while a guitar song lesson helped me greatly. It explained exactly what I had to when learning different parts of different songs. It was awesome. I couldn’t believe the detail that was happening in each lesson. I was learning the exact proper chords to play. I was learning the lead bits from each song. It was just awesome. If I had known how great these full song lessons could be I likely would’ve done it long before I ever did.
